Another Question about Restricing Access

  • I know there have been a few questions about this, but I have yet to find an answer that works.

    I’m trying to restrict my blog so that only registered users can view (and comment on) posts.

    I’ve tried Carthik’s registered-only plugin. This would work fine except that in addition to blocking access to the blog posts it also blocks access to the registration page. I need users to be able to automatically register.

    A code change was suggested for this at https://carthik.net/blog/vault/2005/05/12/registered-only-plugin-reworked/, but when I try it I get a browser error that there are too many redirects.

    Does anyone have any suggestions/fixes for this?
