It began with the fact that there were 7 fewer unowned records. I decided to use Yoast Tester and reset the counter. After enabling data optimization, if there are 2076 records, it shows 2075 unowned. And what should I do?

We’re sorry you’re having trouble with internal link counters. I imagine this can be frustrating for you. We’d like to look a closer look.

We understand that you ran the SEO Data Optimization, however, it’s still showing incorrect numbers of internal link count.

Could you please, clear all your caching from your theme, plugin, server, CDN like CloudFlare or browser. If you are not sure how to clear caching from theme/plugin please speak to those authors. If you want to clear cache from the server, please speak to your host provider. To clear the cache from a browser use this guide: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-clear-my-browsers-cache/.

If that doesn’t resolve the issue, you might also try running indexing via WP CLI.
It can be especially taxing for larger websites to run this process from the WordPress dashboard, which is why we also provide an option to run the indexables via WP-CLI. You can learn more about it here –

@suascat_wp Clearing the cache doesn’t help. What is WP CLI and how to use it to solve the problem, I cannot understand

    Hi,

WP-CLI is a command-line interface for WordPress that makes tasks easier to perform. You can learn more about it here. We have a command to reindex the indexables using WP-CLI – https://developer.yoast.com/features/wp-cli/reindex-indexables/

Another alternative would be to run the process through your WP admin dashboard. Can you please try resetting our indexables in the database tables by following the steps below?
    1. Install & activate the?Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
    3. Locate the Yoast SEO section and click on the ‘Reset indexables tables & migrations’, ‘Reset Prominent words calculation’, and ‘Reset Internal link counter’ buttons. After each click, the page will reload to confirm that each reset was successful. Note: Resetting the optimization doesn’t undo any of the hard work you’ve put into the plugin as the SEO data is also stored in WordPress’ default tables. It’ll just reset the custom Yoast tables that contain the combined data pulled from those default tables.
    4. Go to SEO > Tools, and under SEO data, click the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your?content.

For your site’s health and safety, we recommend creating regular backups of your site and database. This is especially important before installing, updating or removing plugins. Learn more about the benefits of regular backups.

Could you then check if that helps resolve the issue?
