Another Blank Page-upgrade 2.6.1 to 2.8.4

I had these problems because my provider didn’t give me enough memory.
Try downloading the wp-memory-usage plugin and find out if you have enough php memory for that wordpress version.
Good luck

Clear browser cache and cookies…
Reupload WordPress files…
Delete all but the default theme…
Make sure you have enough PHP memory allocated…

I have apache2 configured currently with php4, and that has a memory limit set to 64MB.

I did install the wp-memory-usage plugin…hadn’t seen that one before. I like it.

I had gone through and cleared caches, cookies, etc, but what ended up doing the trick for me was what a post on a different thread suggested….simply update a little at a time. I was trying to go from 2.6.1 to 2.8.4 in one jump, and it wasn’t happy with that.

I then updated from 2.6.1 to 2.7 with no problems, then from 2.7 to 2.8…no problems, then from 2.8 to 2.8.4, and everything is happy.

I guess I will keep more on top of it, and not let so many updates go by.

Ok, But I gott blank page while updating from 2.8.5 to 2.8.6

What can be wrong? Same is that with plugins, when I want to upgrade these plugins, then i gott a blank page while updating.
