    If you are using a recent version of Subscribe2 there are some anti spam measures included however it is still wise to use a plugin like Bad Behaviour.

    Also, if these subscribers remain unconfirmed they will be automatically deleted after 28 days.

    Than you for the advice. I’m also looking for a way to bulk delete the Anonymous subscribers as there is 49,000. Any ideas?

    Does this not apply then?

    You can filter on Unconfirmed Subscribers and delete all those on the page. You could also try direct in the database using PHPMyAdmin.
