Anonymous Posting Hack/Plugin

  • Hi everyone! I’m trying to setup a blog (of sorts) that allows anonymous posting. Not comments, but actual posts. Is there a plugin/hack that accomplishes this? I doubt it, since this isn’t a run-of-the-mill request, but I thought I’d ask anyway.
    I’m currently trying to dissect wp-admin/post.php, but it’s proving more difficult than I anticipated.

  • 1. Create a user with the level you want.
    2. Post the name and password for this user.
    This means that all posts look like they come from the same person though, but it works.

    WordPress 1.3 have an option for level 1 users to be able to submit posts. They won’t go live automatically, but will go live once approved by a high level user.

    Over 400 posts by over 150 anonymous users.
