Anonymize IP

Hi,
is there a possibility to anonymize the IPs in logging method? I would love to log, but our Data Protection Law does not allow setting of cookies or saving complete IP-Adresses. So a lot of plugin allready allow anoymized saving of IPs. Is there a way to do that with you plugin?
