    If you benefit from a free product, that someone put time and effort into, then yes you can expect ads to offer “Buy Pro”.

    @themely I agree you can offer a pro version but taking up a huge portion of the dashboard is kinda excessive.

    To state that it takes up “a huge portion” is inaccurate.

    Many theme & plugin developers display some sort of dashboard notice upon successful activation of their theme/plugin. It is designed to inform the users or any actions they must do upon activation and sometimes to also offer an upgrade.

    These notices are also usually dismissable.

    We are more than open to constructive criticism, but to give us a 2 star rating simply because you don’t like the ads on a free product, I find unfortunate.

    I you have constructive criticism which will help improve the theme, I am open to hear it.
