Annoying "Sample Page" in Google search results

Thanks! Since I’ve erased that “Sample Page” page from WordPress, does this mean eventually my titles on Google Searches will no longer have “Sample Page” at the end of them?

It seems likely that with time, those should probably start to disappear from Google search results.

You should grab you an account with Google Webmaster Tools and submit a removal request.

Hi, the “Sample Page” got removed. Thanks a bunch for the advice; it worked!

However, now on Google searches, I have the website’s name, Song Simian, at the back of search results of posts with short titles. Ex:

Worse, sometimes on overly long titles, Google cuts off half of the title and puts in “Song Simian” instead. Ex:

I have no idea why it’s doing this. On my homepage is a list of the newest blog posts. I’m using all All in One SEO and its General Settings for the homepage are these:

Is Google using the first part of the title to generate the “Song Simian” behind the search results? Or is it using the author’s name–which is also “Song Simian”–to generate it. It can’t be the menu since it should only say “Home” as shown by my menu settings:

I would just want the Google searches to reflect my titles without the “Song Simian” at the end and if the titles are overly long, then ellipses would work fine (“…”). Can someone help? Thanks a ton!!!
