• Using WooCommerce PDF Invoices for a month or so, it’s basic but it works. Would have given it 4 stars but for the bloody nag that perpetually asks for a ‘review’. So here’s your review – 1 star !!!

    Hi @karlwinn,

The review notice should not be displayed once you dismissed it once.
Can you send me your WooCommerce System Status?
Did you’ve tried clearing your browser cache?

@karlwinn Did you found the time to look into this?

Hi Bas, yes, I have cleared both local and server cache. Also using latest versions of WP, Avada, and Woocommerce, and all patched / updated to latest versions. Hosting with SiteGround so fairly standard server config. Browser is latest 64bit Opera for Windows 7, default settings no normal cookie blocking. It isn’t a major problem, just annoying.

Bas, my apologies, I typed “Windows 7″‘ – it is of course Windows 10.

    Thanks for your reply.

The admin notice is getting displayed based on a site transient. Maybe you or some plugin is regularly cleaning up all site transients? Does it show within a time range of 10 days or just keeps showing and won’t dismiss?

Giving 1 star and not willing to help us out resolving the problem? ??

Bas, I’m not a novice WP user, and I’ve already spent time checking your suggested solutions as well as my own. But I also have far more pressing matters to get on with than resolving a nag notice. It’s your plugin Bas that needs further work, not the end user who encounters an unforeseen problem. Passing the buck back to user may have made Bill Gates rich, but it did so at the expense of the end users time and effort. I don’t have the time or the inclination at the moment to fix this issue – its far too minor a problem and it just doesn’t merit it.

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
We were able to resolve the problem in latest update. Can you let me know if the problem has been resolved? I really would appreciate your reply.

This problem was never resolved. I’m facing this issue as well.

We’ve finally managed to find the cause. It seems when users are having JavaScript errors (from other plugins), the AJAX calls to dismiss the notices aren’t working.

I’ve disabled the rate notice in latest version and will have to code a solution which will not use AJAX. Please check your console with the inspector of your browser for any errors. This is a serious problem, because all other plugins will also not be able to execute JavaScript code!

Let me know if I can help you out with anything.
