Annoying Gutenberg Causes Repeated Problems!

    The “Gutenberg” problem began after a recent WordPress update while I was on GoDaddy hosting. My developer turned off the feature and the problem stopped. I recently migrated my websites to SiteGround and my developer thought he fixed the Gutenberg problem earlier this week. It is not fixed. The first time the problem occurred the autosave was the issue but this time, yesterday, I tried to save a post I was working on and when I clicked on “update” the post was stuck in an endless loop. I’m frustrated and need assistance with this plugin. If I can’t work because I can’t save documents than I don’t make money and my clients are very unhappy with me. Please help.

    We’ll need more information on this annoying gutenberg issue. From your post we only know you have a problem, but not what the problem is.

    Hello, I’m sorry I forgot to click the submit button with my description. I’ll recap my intended message here. A few months ago, I had my websites on GoDaddy. Immediately after an automatic WordPress update, something in my posts triggered the auto-save to endlessly loop. Consequently, I lost DAYS of posting until I hired a new developer who said it was a Gutenberg bug. He disabled the “blocks” and I was stuck with the classic editor. That happened on both websites I own and manage.

    Meanwhile, I decided to move my websites to SiteGround in November. I asked my developer/troubleshooter to find out if the Gutenberg autosave issue was resolved and he said he repaired the problem. That was a day or so ago. It worked fine yesterday but this morning I tried to save a post and after I clicked update, the endless loop began and the message, “update failed” popped up.

    This is maddening. One week before Christmas and I can’t complete any posts.

    Do you know if Gutenberg fixed the auto-save problem and if there has been a recent WordPress update?

    My developer is not available today and I’d like to do how to get back on track and post using blocks.

    The issue you are having seems to be related to WordPress (or most probably a third party component) and not our plugin, thus you’ll need to post it in the correct forum in order to get help!
