Annoying “Filter deprecated message”

  • I like the plugin and I use it for many years now. Since I started using it there is a message for each and any filter stating “!IMPORTANT! This filter is DEPRECATED and will be replaced with new filters in near future.”.

    Whats wrong there? Near future? There has not been an update to the filters for years. Is this a bug? What can I do? The filters work but this message is really unsettling (and ugly).

    Wow, I found it. You need to disable a setting in the add-ons section. This should be part of that notification.

    This message on filter edit page is looks like this

    !IMPORTANT! This filter is DEPRECATED and will be replaced with new filters in near future.
We recommend you to replace it manually on a staging/dev/local site first.
You can disable "Deprecated filters" add-on in Plugin settings

    and has link to plugin page tab add-ons to disable it.
