    hi @3xploiton3

    Thank you for contacting us for help with the promotional banner repeatedly returning after being dismissed. This is not typical plugin behavior and might be due to heavy caching on your website. After dismissing the banner, please go to your WordPress Dashboard > Instagram Feed > Settings > Feeds and click “Clear All Caches” and the banner should stay dismissed.

    If the above doesn’t work, You can add the following custom CSS to your website to hide the banner:

    .sbi_discount_notice{
    display: none;
    }

    You can add the CSS to your website by navigating to your?WordPress Dashboard > Instagram Feed > Settings > Feeds Tab > Custom CSS >?copy and paste the snippet.?Finally, click on the Save Changes button to complete the process. After that, the banner should stay dismissed.

    I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.

    we are also experiencing this issue. it’s very invasive, and does NOT make us want to pay. we shouldn’t have to deploy CSS work-arounds.

    Hey @qfwv3ehog7aanp2 and @3xploiton3,

    Thank you for reaching out here as well. We have added an additional function to clear any banners that are not being dismissed as expected. In the latest version, 6.4.3, please go to Instagram Feed > Settings > Advanced (tab) > Reset Error Log > click Reset. Then clear any website or local caches and check again, as the notice should be dismissed. If it is not, please let us know! The CSS workaround is a temporary measure should the notice still remain, as we expect each user to be able to dismiss these normally, as well as for the notice to remain dismissed.

    If you have further issues or questions, please let us know.

    Best regards,
    Joel
