• How do I get rid of this annoyingly persistent advertising banner on my Admin page.
You really should have a way of allowing users to dismiss this permanently

My next step would be to delete all your plugins

    Thank you

Try out a better plugin to show pop-ups on your site

Thank you for reporting this. Yes, there should be such an option. Will check and get back to you.

You can get a plugin (Free) that disables all those notifications and ones asking you to write reviews (which I don’t mind doing) or spend money which most people don’t have these days on over priced subscription based extensions. Gone are the days of buying something once (rolls eyes).

If you want it let me know and I will send you a link for it as I can’t remember the exact name at the moment sorry.

    Thanks @cybagirl

I really appreciate you getting back to me with these suggestions.
However, I find these intrusive and persistent pop ups rude, unnecessary and totally unacceptable.

I have now deleted all plugins from the developer of “ultimate-social-media-icons” from all my clients websites.

This developers banners were even showing on my clients front end editing screens !!!!

At the very least they should offer a way to dismiss these banners.

Again thank you for your suggestions.
