    Hi Jesse,

Nice Theme! However, I’m now getting annoying regular 404 notifications due to the notifier you placed into 404.php: https://github.com/mardesco/bliss/blob/master/404.php

While yes, it is sometimes nice to know when a 404 occurs on one’s site — this becomes completely untenable for high-volume sites. Emails come in hourly.

While I could, of course, Child the Theme or filter the emails… it really ought be an option one can turn off inside Bliss itself. Please consider adding a “get 404 notifications?” option under your Advanced Settings tab.

    Thanks,
    Jon Peck

  • Hi Jon,
Thanks very much for your feedback. This is an excellent suggestion. I’ve already got an update in the works; so I will include this feature in the upcoming version (and will set the default to “no”). Should be uploading to the repo in the next couple days. Have a great day.

Thanks again for your feedback. The work-in-progress release of Bliss is now available for download from the github repo:

    https://github.com/mardesco/bliss

You can see I have now turned off those annoying 404 emails by default:

    https://github.com/mardesco/bliss/blob/master/404.php

And made a number of other changes. I may make a few final changes before pushing a new version via the WordPress repo. But wanted to make this available to you as it is now. If you spot any other bugs or usability issues, please let me know. Thanks!
