    Hi there,

I’m not sure as I am not familiar with the polylang plugin but our plugin is fully compatibles with WPML. I worked with their team to ensure our plugin was setup properly, and was fully translatable.

We have a number of users who have successfully integrated Timeline Express with WPML for multi-language sites. I would recommend looking into that solution.

    Hi Evan

    Thx for the feedback..

But sorry, i don’t get it…what is your exact recommendation ?
Are you the owner of the plugin or do you have a plugin to translate timeline express?

I use Timeline Express but it is doesn’t translate by polylang…So please tell me the solution to solve the problem with polylang.

If there is no solution to translate timeline express with polylang, the plugin is useless! I will not go and translate some strings in the HTML for every language. Sorry to say so, but 90% of all WP users out of USA are working with polylang for multilang pages.

Although the plugin works fine for one language i would strongly recommend to integrate polylang.

    Best Regards
    R.

    Hi R.,

I’m not sure I understand the issue. I setup a test instance with Timeline Express and polylang, and was able to setup a site in multiple languages, including getting the announcements and the titles translated.

I’m not sure exactly what you are doing or what you have tried. Can you please elaborate on the issue? What isn’t working for you? Have you enabled the custom post types and their respective meta fields to work with polylang? It’s in the poly lang settings.

    Thanks,
    Evan

    Hi Evan

I got the point…you had to activate in Polylang “timline express” under

–> polylang –> settings –> Custom post types and Taxonomies –> Custom post types

Didn’t know that before. Now it works perfectly.

Thx for the advice and maybe you can post that on your plugin help site ??

    Best Regards

    Hi R.,

I will consider mentioning it, or setting up a tutorial on how to setup multi-lingual timelines on the docs site.

    Thanks,
    Evan
