    Hey everyone!

    I’ve been working on a major update to this extension to make it more intuitive and complete.

    As mentioned in the plugin description, the current version of SportsPress for Cricket is still in Beta. We’re still making improvements and have had to change some of the data structure in order to support the new features we’re introducing.

    This means that some of the data will not transfer when updating from version 0.9.3 to 1.0. Please be sure to keep a backup of your current data, or test the new version before updating your main site.

    The main areas that will change in version 1.0 are:

    • Extras are added as a single row above Total.
    • Notes are now part of the core SportsPress plugin with the upcoming introduction of the Text format.
    • Batting and Bowling stats are now part of the Offense-Defense feature in the core SportsPress plugin.
    • Batting Order and Bowling Order now use a drag-and-drop interface.

    If you’re ready to start using the new version, you can get it from GitHub before the official release scheduled for early next week. Please also be sure to download the working master branch of SportsPress to get everything to work.

    To test out the new update

    1. Download and install SportsPress for Cricket from GitHub.
    2. Download and install SportsPress from GitHub.
    3. From the WP admin, go to SportsPress > Settings > General.
    4. Change Sport to Cricket. If Cricket is already selected, change it to Custom, save, then select Cricket again and save.
    5. Go to SportsPress > Settings > Events.
    6. Scroll down to the Scorecard section, and change the Performance option to “Offense → Defense”.

    Now, you should see a Cricket ball in place of the SportsPress logo in the sidebar, and be able to select players for batting and bowling sections separately when editing events.

  • Major error in league … League should be displayed as higher points & points are same sort using higher NRR

    @mrkanoor Thanks for your feedback! The default setting is to sort by total points, then NRR and number of wins. Could you show me what your table looks like?
