Announcement: Comment Timeout plugin

I’ve written a new plugin to allow you to shut off comments on your blog automatically after a certain number of days. This should be pretty useful for cutting down comment spam, a lot of which seems to end up on old blog entries.

This plugin also allows you to keep comments open on entries whose discussion is still ongoing.

The plugin can be configured via a page on the “Options” section of your dashboard.
