  • Don’t quite know what I’m doing wrong, or what may be wrong with this app but…

I’ve tried to post a couple of tims using it. The posts I create DO appear in the post list when viewing the list in the admin panel, BUT they DON’T publish for some reason.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

    Piggy,
Just tried it (wp 1.52 and 2.0) and it worked. Did you have the “Publish as draft” checked (on the publish dialog).

I’ll also try it with another version of WP.

    Well just to update…

I’ve removed and reinstalled Zoundry. Tried again a couple of times to post and the still appear on the list in the admin panel as ‘published’ but they still refuse to show up on the blog itself.

I’ve also noticed the posts themselves (as they appear in the admin panel) are full of html code when I click ‘edit’, something I don’t normally see in the posts.

‘View post’ shows the post correctly.

    I’m baffled.

    Piggy,
I am baffled as well! Not good especially if I just put out an announcement wrt 1.0 release ??

(on my tests it works for WP 1.5, 1.5.1.3, 1.5.2, and 2.0).

Which version of WP are you using? I will test it against it to make sure a post is published. If it is an issue with our app, I’ll take this thread offline (i.e. if it is not related to WP).

Also which plug-ins are you using? (since plug-ins and other filters can modify the content).

It happended with me also, when I tried “Zoundry Blog Writer” first time, around 3 months back. The post were viewable in admin panel but were not shown on the blog.

I had written this many times to Zoundry support throuh direct email and their feedback system. But they didn’t bother to reply back.

Apart from this, I had also noticed many other bugs and I wanted to write those too also, but when I could not hear anything from them for about 1 month, I opted out.

I moved this topic off to Zoundry in case it is not related to WP. See https://forums.zoundry.com/viewtopic.php?p=835

Rok, sorry if anyone at Z had not responded. Generally we respond to all emails unless its caught in a spam filter in our end or in the recipient’s (e.g. yours) end. If you still have those message, you can send them to support [a t] zoundry (dot) com.

pidge – I have nothing against Zoundry. I am running a blog and Blog Editors are the very handy thing to make Post. So I do test Blog editing Softwares. And ones, which I like the most, I keep with me and try to contact their support Team and report them about Bugs or new features for improvizing.

As I liked Zoundry, I contacted support with Bugs and some improvization. Rest is all I have written in my previous post.

I will look for those email, but at this moment, I am working on my Blog. As my account was deleted from the Host Server. And I have lost about 100 Post and some customization. My account is on Free Hosting. As due to some sever personal problems, I am not in a position to buy a paid Domain & Hosting.
