animation container hover not working

animation hover to reveal image/element is not working. it works in the page editor but not on the live site. Do you know how to fix it? I started with an animation container, added advanced heading, named it as a css class “popup” and use that as the trigger class for another animation container with an image in it, and set opacity to 0 to hide the image. works fine in editor but not on the site.
