    I tried that, including uploading to library, but I get the image of a broken link. I thought perhaps that since WiseChatEmoticonsFilter.php says

    private static $aliases = array(

    that something might be needed on that file to include animated .gifs

    What am I missing?

    I can implement animated GIFs but this is not part of my free support. Sorry.

    I certainly wouldn’t expect it as part of your free support. Was just wondering if it was as simple as your first response, to simply replace the icons.

    Thank you for letting me know that there is more to it than that. I suspected there would be.

    If I find a nice pack of free animated emoticons I will include them as an option to my plugin.
