• I’m pretty new with WordPress but I thought I’d give it a try to create my own website ?? (Although it not really a blog-page at first)

What I want to do is create a very basic, simple and clear website for my photography hobby.
Besides a simple menu structure on the left side I want a big image space covering the main page. (NOT a background image which covers the whole site or frontpage).
I would like to show several images, slowly zooming in (or out).
If this is working properly, I also would like to have some sort of a slider so visitors can manually scroll through the images on the frontpage.

I’m sure for this, or at least the most features I want, there will be a plugin available but unfortunately I can’t find it.

Does anybody know if such a plugin even exists?
Or if there is an other way to create the effect I want?

    Many thanks in advance!!!

  • I recommend that you install Elementor plugin, it has a free version and it has an option to use a background slider with different types of transitions. It also has an option to add Ken Burns effect which slightly zooms the picture in or out.

I found this video on youtube where it explains it perfectly “Elementor Background Slider Tutorial”

    Hope it helps!!
