Animated logo not working in header- gif image

We do not see the GIF file to be an animated logo.

Can you try following the steps mentioned here to see if it helps? As I tried with an animated logo on my end and it worked.

As you can see logo in header and footer is not animated for me.

Most of the WordPress themes follow and allow only the WordPress default logo and its types like SVG, PNG, etc for better results.

Apart from that, other types are not recommended. But, you can use page builders and insert an Image widget or module to the header and use Animated Logos in them.

While the link provided in the previous response does help you insert the Animated Logo using a method mentioned using the theme’s customizer.

Just make the GIF without a white background. Make it transparent that your logo can fit anywhere
