Hi – I have a website with many images in the sidebar widgets, all of them same size but apparently not optimized ( got an F in gmetrics ) . wondering if this plugin would help in that regard. will the URLs to smushed images change? in my case many img src syntax resides in a javascript script, so presumably that should remain the same. If you have time please inspect a gif or two and let me know. free or premium … thanks in advance , ed

will the URLs to smushed images change?
The URLs will not change once the images are smushed, it would be the same. The plugin is just optimizing the image quality.
While the Smush free version does handle GIFs I checked your site and can see that the reported images are full-sized images and that is something not supported in the free version. We do offer a free trial for our Pro version if you wish to give it a go and see if it fits your needs.
