Sabai Directory is a premium plugin – so I do not have access to it. But I took a look at the demo and as far as I can see it is not possible to assign tags to an entry. So how to convert hashtags to tags when there are no tags? It would be necessary to contact the author of the Sabai Directory plugin to request a tag functionality before. Then maybe I can get it work. So unfortunately the answer is “no”…

Or do you just want to link hashtags to tags used in blog posts?
