    Not sure why this is happening but I’m getting lots of character codes appearing where the actual characters should be appearing so my syntaxhighlighted code is appearing like this:

    EDIT: Actually tricky to explain as when I add the wrong code here it actually shows up perfectly okay!

  • Agreed. This is a huge problem. I would like to use high-lighters to lay out code in boxes but every time I save a draft all of the special characters get converted and so I have to paste in each section of code each time I save. A terrible hassle to have to paste in multiple code blocks because I notice I spelled the word typpe.

    Figured out the problem was actually in the theme that I was using. It was stripping out some code – not entirely sure what was happening but I got rid of the code that was causing the issue and all appears well once again.
