Anchor text replacement?

Let me first say that I love this plugin. It’s the best money I’ve spent, and saved me from a huge Optimizely bill.

One question: I’d really like to be able to switch out anchor text (the text inside the link) in addition to the href. Specifically I have linked phone numbers I’m testing for two different providers, and I’d like the link to match what appears on page. I gather that this is not currently possible, is that right? And if not, how hard would it be to add support?
