Anchor Text Issue – Possible theme problem?

    We’d like to add anchor text on our site however it seems within our WordPress theme (SimpleMag) it’s not possible. As this does help establish good SEO with the Almighty Google Bots, how do we/can we add anchor text somehow within our theme or somehow bypass the theme to add it to our links?

    What do you mean you can’t add anchor text? …Go to the text editor; I hate the visual editor or page builder, or any other “content plugin.”

    As in the option to do so is just not there. I’m pretty sure it’s a flaw in our theme but do you (or anyone) know of a way to circumvent this?
