• Hope someone can point me in the right direction. I have created some anchor text on a page (with a bullet list), but when you click the link to go to the anchor text, the page displays one line below the actual anchor text. I cannot seem to work out how to make it also show the text with the anchor. Thank you

    • Jessie Gap
Found within Emily and Jessie Gap Conservation Reserve about 15 km east of town, Jessie Gap is the easternmost of the two gaps.
    •

    • West MacDonnell Ranges
To the west of Alice Springs is the popular West Macs, encompassing the West MacDonnell National Park, and providing important refuges for plants and animals, living side by side with relics descended from ancient tropical forests.

  • Can you give the URL to the page in question? Any one of a million things could be happening on the page to cause this. But, unfortunately, it’s impossible to help without testing out the live page.

    Hi George Appiah (@gappiah)

    The page is:
    https://ausemade.com.au/destinations/northern-territory-nt-australia/alice-springs/alice-springs-attractions/bird-watching-alice-springs-central-australia/

I just did a test in Firefox, and it seems to work there. However, I do most of my work in Google Chrome and when clicking the anchor is goes to the next line down and you do not see the heading on the screen. Thanks

oops… for some reason my reply to you appears as a thread starter (not sure why)

Works for me in Google Chrome (v92), as well as the latest versions of all browsers I have installed: Firefox, Brave, Edge and Opera and the new Microsoft Edge — all on Windows.

The screenshot below (from Google Chrome) shows what I see when I clicked on the “Kunoth Bore” anchor link at the top of the page:

    Thanks George Appiah (@gappiah)

I do feel silly, as I was logged into WordPress and when I look at my Chrome window, the toolbar for WordPress sits under my Chrome toolbar and therefore whenever I was viewing what I thought was the Live page, it was actually presenting within the WordPress window. When I log out of WordPress the issue disappears… ?? thanks again for helping me to resolve this.
