Anchor tags stripped out of posts

    My posts have anchor tag (links), and I can see them when I re-edit my posts. But on the live page, the anchor tags are stripped out and only the link text remains. I can’t find a setting to control this, I must be missing something obvious here. The link DOES WORK on the single post page however.

    (I have Wordfence and All in One security installed, if that makes a difference.)

    The problem or bug with the anchor tag appears to be in the “the_excerpt” function. I changed this in content.php to “the_content” and the links are working. I didn’t want the “read more..” link anyway.

    I would like to get the category editing fixed.
