    Hi !

First of : I love Sermon Manager.

In order to not slow down the website, I switched to Anchor.fm for hosting but want to keep Sermon Manager as the main interface for church members to find and sort through the sermons.

My issue is the following. Anchor.fm asks me to redirect the feed from my old host (which is myself using SM) to the new feed url given by anchor.fm. But using the Sermon > Settings > Podcast > Redirection option doesn’t seem to work as anchor.fm tells me they are unable to find the redirection. In the first field I put the SM feed url and in the second field the anchor.fm feed url.

Am I doing something wrong ?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • The Sermon Feed is /?feed=rss2&post_type=wpfc_sermon, so your website would be https://podcast.philippegolaz.ch/?feed=rss2&post_type=wpfc_sermon but it already redirects to this https://anchor.fm/s/12843d90/podcast/rss.

Thank you Mike for your input. After I posted the first message here, I tried using a plugin to redirect the sermon feed to the anchor.fm new feed. I’m glad to know that it seems to be working for you as well. Unfortunately, Anchor.fm is still “unable to see the redirect” (to quote the error message I have from their website). This makes me think that the problem might be on the anchor.fm side and not SM. I’m in touch with their support to try and fix it.

But if there’s any other input from Sermon Manager or the Sermon Manager community, I’d be happy ! ??

Issue was fixed by Anchor.fm support.
