    Hi

Im using OceanWp together with Elementor. I’m very happy with the combination. However there are 2 things I cant work out. When clicking on the menu I would like to the specific part of the page instantly without seeing the scrolling. Also I have a two page website. Using the anchor points within the same page works. But not when I’m using is referring to a different page. When I’m at weddingphotography nothing will happen when ik click on pricing under wedding art. I have to click on wedding art first and after I can click on pricing.

    Many thanks,
    Hazy

The problem is in how you have defined the link in the menu, not in the anchors. For example, if you were to link to https://hazelweddingart.com/index.php#pricing rather than to https://hazelweddingart.com/#pricing then it should work.

Thanks a lot. It is working now. However do you also have an answer to my first problem that the menu doesnt jump instantly but scrolls.

    Thanks,

I think the issue of jumping vs. scrolling is an individual browser configuration issue. If you want to try to force some behavior, then you probably need to add a JavaScript handler of the menu click. I am neither recommending this nor warning you against it, but you may see a discussion of the sort of thing that is needed here: https://www.sitepoint.com/scroll-smoothly-javascript/ (actually, it concerns how to force scrolling, but it gives an idea of what is involved). That article raises the valid issue that scrolling makes it clear to the visitor what page is being displayed whereas jumping is less transparent. Some visitors, those with a strong, page-oriented mindset, might be confused by jumping from page to page.
