Anchor Link to Footer section?

  • The site I am working on has important information that will live in the footer area (address, telephone number and email address of the client).

    Is there a way to make a link that scrolls directly to the footer? I tried creating an anchor link in the footer.php, but that didn’t work.

    RESOLVED:

    I just realized there is already an anchor to the footer named #footer.
    So, to link to the footer you simply enter the URL-of-your-site/#footer
