• Hi Jacob,

    I’ve noticed (after many research) that the Intro Page Slideshow of the wordpress theme I’m using (Anan for photographers), not being run by wppa, isn’t working anymore when wppa plug in is active. It’s just a black plage. There may be a conflict between them Anan Theme and wwpa or wppa is overriding the theme initial functions…

    Is there please an option somewhere in the huge wppa options menu to make it work back ?

    Thanks in advance,

    have a nice day

    This theme must be payed for, so i will not install it to test your issue.
    If you supply me a link to the site – and maybe a logn if that is required – i may be able to see what is hapening.

    Otherwise, ask the theme builder to point out what the comatibility issue is, so we can decide if this plugin needs modification or the theme

    website is https://www.lilianginet.com (There must be a slideshow on the intro page that is deactivated when wppa is active).

    Where could I send you log in of needed ?

    Theme is no longer available so I may find problem to contact the theme builder. But the slideshow was working like a charm until one of last wppa updates… Would it be a wppa option that could be conflictual to Theme slideshow ?

    Thanks you for your time

    Thanx for the info you gave me.

    On the frontpage, the theme manipulates the loading of the javascripts.
    In particular – most likely because of it changes the sequence of js loads – the results of
    wp_add_inline_script(...); is missing.

    This tag:

    <script type="text/javascript" id="wppa-js-after">
    ...
    </script>

    is missing, resulting in a number of js errors.

    So, my conclusion is that the theme is responsible for the misbehaviour.

    I also noticed that, when wppa is de-activated, the frontpage still does not work; i see the errormessage on the console that this file
    ‘https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/swfobject/2.1/swfobject.js’ is not loaded because it does not start with https://

    PS:
    You can have a slideshow without surrounding displays when using the shortcode [wppa type="slideonly" album="..."] so maybe you do not need the anan slideshow anyway.
