• Why is google analytics showing amp/?q= in the url of amp pages?

It seems to be only when a mobile phone goes to a page and it redirected to amp page.

Why does it need that? Other plugins redirect automatically without changing the url like that.

I still get ?q= with amp redirect when i visit a page or post directly. Only redirect that works is /blog/

Updated to latest. Cleared hosting cache and browser cache.

    Hi Aar6on67,

I’d like to inform you that this issue has been fixed in our Updated Version, this seems to be a strange issue, could you send me the Proper Link where you see the ” ?q= ” so that I can check at my end and do you use AMP Cache, if Yes then clear it and try once again to check for it?

    I am using latest 0.9.97.8

I don’t have AMP cache. Disabled wp fastest cache and it is still adding ?q=

    Hi Aar6on67,

I’ve checked the link provided by you, it seems to be strange, I recommend you to contact me at [email protected] so that I can debug the issue and get back to you?

When will the fix be added to the public plugin?

    Hi Aar6on67,

I didn’t find the ticket of your’s which you’ve sent us at [email protected], could you help me with the ticket so that I can and give you an update on it?

    Thread Starter aar6on67

    (@aar6on67)

I don’t see a ticket number in the email exchange. But that shouldn’t matter, when is the fix for amp pages without ?q= going to be implemented in the public plugin?

It is causing large CPU usage and very slow amp page loads. 5 second “wait time” from server ONLY on amp “pages”.

    Hi Aar6on67,

I’ve again seen the link which you’ve sent to me and there’s no ” ?q ” being added into your link, could you check at your end and about the Ticket you can just send me the URL so that I can check it for you?

It was fixed on my staging site. Not live site. I cannot risk you logging into my live site.
I tried uploading the plugin from staging and applying to live site. Got 500 server error after attempting.

I had to disable amp on my live site. It was hurting my SEO. I really need this fixed asap
