Analytics Show Different Net Sales in Revenue and Products

    Hi, I have a problem or I don’t understand something. WooCommerce -> Analytics -> Products shows different value for Net Sales than WooCommerce -> Analytics -> Revenue. I’ve made some calculations and the average price of products shown in WooCommerce -> Analytics -> Products is 2-3% less then the actual price of the products. For example, I have product with price 34,50, but WooCommerce -> Analytics -> Products shows price for 20 selled items – 676,20. If we devide 675,20 to 20 we get 33.81, but the actual price of the product is 34.50. The difference is about 2% but for ther products is more.     Any idea why is that and how can I fix it?

  • WC analytics & reports have always been slightly out when compared to the figures we have in our accounts software (which pulls data from Paypal & credit card company). Think the issue has been refunds being deducted without taking into account the postage charge.

    I’m not comparing results from WooCommerce and 3rd party softwares. Its all in WooCommerce Analytics. Also I don’t have refunds.

    Hi @rumengeorgieff. Net sales does not include refunds, coupons, taxes or shipping. Are taxes included in your product prices?

    This doesn’t quite explain why Net Sales would be different for Revenue versus Products for the same time frame though.

    Have you tried exporting the reports and cross-referencing them?
