While trying to reconcile my reports from this quarter, I noticed that the Woocommerce Analytics>Revenue report is including $480 in the net total that shouldn’t be there. After troubleshooting, I determined that the issue is related to 3 orders, where all the products in those orders have been discounted to $0 (it is the way I’ve come up with to manage our different Gift Box components). I’ve made the discount to the orders by changing the amount of each item to $0 (rather than applying a coupon). The order totals show as $0 in the order itself: https://imgur.com/a/FAfhxt6

According to the Woocommerce documentation, “net sales” should be the gross minus refunds and coupons/discounts. However, “net sales” does not account for these discounts. In the Analytics>Orders dashboard for the day I created them, you can see the net sales for these orders are incorrectly showing up as a their subtotal amount rather than $0: https://imgur.com/a/4RycgCw

Can you help me troubleshoot this? While I could stop tracking our gift boxes in this manner, there are other times I use this method (when applying special wholesale discounts to specific customers, etc.) where I change the product amount rather than creating a special coupon and applying it to the order. It doesn’t seem that Woocommerce would allow the product amounts to be edited if they didn’t plan to account for the discount in the reporting – so I presume this is a bug of some kind. Thanks!
