    Hello,

I’m trying to export monthly taxes datas from /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-admin&path=%2Fanalytics%2Ftaxes&period=last_month&compare=previous_year . While clicking on Download link, it says (as usual) that the report will be sent by email.

But nothing else happens. I never got any email.

    Other reports work fine.

    Can you assist?

    Hi there!

I understand your concern. Could you please confirm that you’re checking the inbox of the correct email address? By default, emails are sent to the address linked with your WordPress.com account. Please ensure you’re checking the email address you have listed in your profile section, and also try looking in your spam folder.

If that does not help, Please note that WooCommerce is not responsible for this as emails use the WordPress PHP mail() function. Please contact your email hosting provider and they should be able to check the logs and figure out why those report emails are not getting generated and sent.

Just to add, we have an Email Troubleshooting guide that may also come in handy in this case: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/email-faq/.

There’s also a tutorial on WordPress not sending emails that may be useful:

    Best.

    Hello,

As said, I receive the others reports without issue but not Taxes report.

    Hello bvedgie,

    Thank you for your reply.

This is strange behavior since other reports are sent correctly.
To confirm whether the report is generated or not, I suggest you install the WP Mail Logging plugin.
This plugin will log all the outgoing emails.

Let me know what you see in the mail logs.
Sharing a screenshot will be helpful.

Looking forward to your response. ??

    Hello,

At the meantime, if the report is generated as it should be, where is it stored on the server?

    Thanks

    Hi @bvedgie ,

At the meantime, if the report is generated as it should be, where is it stored on the server?

Reports generated are not stored on the server as files, they are dynamically created and sent via email. Since other reports are reaching you fine, this seems like an isolated issue with the tax report.

I would also suggest checking the status of scheduled actions related to exporting by visiting WooCommerce > Status > Scheduled Actions. Look for any pending or failed actions that relate to exporting reports.

You can also try add the email addresses used by WooCommerce for sending reports to your email provider’s whitelist, just to make sure it isn’t being blocked or marked as spam. Let us know how it goes.

    Hello,

I’ve got nothing in the logfiles and I tried to send to another email address and I got nothing.

The scheduled action related to the report is complete.

Is there any way to get the link to this report, by any chance?

    How can I debug this?

    Thanks

    Hello bvedgie,

    Thank you for your reply.

I’ve got nothing in the logfiles and I tried to send to another email address and I got nothing.

Could you clarify what you mean by this?
Did you find the emails log in WP Mail Logging empty?
Have you tried generating other emails just to test?

Once I have more information, I will be in a better position to assist you further.

    Best regards.

    Hello bvedgie,

    Thank you for your reply.

Please note that some emails are sent directly by your site using mail configuration on your server and some emails are sent via WordPress.com servers.

The emails sent via WordPress.com servers will not appear in the mail log of the website as they are not sent by the website server. The email which includes a download link for the Tax Report CSV is sent by WordPress.com servers.

I suspect you are not receiving any emails that are sent by WordPress.com servers. You are only receiving emails sent by your website server.

    Previously you mentioned:

As said, I receive the others reports without issue but not Taxes report.

Could tell me which emails are you receiving correctly?
Please open that email and check the Headers to find out from where it was sent.
Share screenshots with me so I can also inspect the headers.

Looking forward to your response. ??

    Bonjour Zubair Zahid,

    Hi @bvedgie,

Thank you for your message. I noticed that the thread has been marked as resolved. Could you kindly confirm whether the issue with the tax report email has been fixed, or if you’re still experiencing the problem?

    Hi @bvedgie,

Referring to the last response from @doublezed2, he requested:

“Please open that email and check the Headers to identify the sender. Share screenshots with me so I can review the headers as well.”

However, you haven’t responded to his request or provided a screenshot. Kindly do so.

J’ai déjà envoyé ces informations dans un msg précédent.

    Hi @bvedgie,

    Thank you for the clarification.

I reviewed the email, and it was sent from [ email deleted, do not post those again ], which is listed as the sender in both the “From” and “Reply-To” fields.

I also noticed that the email was sent via Sendinblue, indicating that your site is using an SMTP plugin configured with Sendinblue for email delivery.

To better understand your site setup, could you share your system status report? You can find it by navigating to:
WooCommerce > Status > Get report > Copy for support
Then, paste the report on Pastebin and share the link here.
