Analytics not being blocked

    Hi there,

    I’ve completed the wizard, but Google Analytics is not blocked when I don’t accept the cookies or manually disable statistics from the pop up. I’ve installed Analytics via Tag Manager.

    I’ve selected Yes for the question “Do you want to ask for statistics?”. But this is the only question I see in this screen. I can’t enter my GTM ID here, just like in this tutorial: https://complianz.io/definitive-guide-to-tag-manager-and-complianz/.

    Any ideas?

    Hallo @spierbouwers,

    Het lijkt erop dat je in Complianz hebt aangegeven Google Tag Manager te gebruiken en daarmee dus Analytics inlaadt, maar dat er een tweede implementatie van Analytics is, welke wordt geplaatst met de Google Site Kit plugin.

    Ik ga er vanuit dat dit (Site Kit implementatie actief, naast de GTM implementatie in Complianz) de reden is dat er nog steeds Analytics geladen wordt voordat er toestemming gegeven is in de Complianz banner.

    Je mag ons ook altijd een bericht sturen via het support formulier op onze website, en je kan hierbij de licentie check overslaan.

    Ik hoop dat dit helpt, laat het maar weten.

    Hi Jarno,

    I just recently installed the Google Site Kit plugin and wasn’t aware that Analytics was also loaded via this plugin! I’ve disabled the plugin and now everthing is working like a charm.
