    Hi Support Team,

The generated report doesn’t follow the filter (for example: category). I’ve selected a single category but everything shown in the emailed report. (no issues in the page but only in the generated report)

On the other hand, can I disable export via email and let users download the data directly, even if there might be some processing time?

Thank you in advance for you action.
    Ibrahim

That is strange. Are you exporting/download the report from WooCommerce > Reports page, or from the Analytics page?

Do let us know so we can check the same on our end.

There isn’t an option to disable the reports via email. If a report takes quite some time to get processed, it would be emailed, rather than being instantly downloaded.

Do let us know so we can help further.

    Hi @wpnomad

Aanlytics > Categories > Single Category

I know there is no an option via the UI, however, is there away via a hook?

Thanks in advance for your support.

    Hi @ibrahimoo ,

Sorry about the delay, it seems I missed checking this thread earlier.

    >Aanlytics > Categories > Single Category

I checked this on my own test store, and was not able to replicate the behaviour. In my export file, I only see the category selected before exporting, please see the screenshot: https://d.pr/i/z7i39p

I suspect if any other plugin or theme is causing the issue on your site. Can you check by setting the theme to default theme (like Twenty Twenty) and disabling other plugins except WooCommerce, and then check the export?

    >I know there is no an option via the UI, however, is there away via a hook?

There aren’t any hooks available to disable the email reporting. That is because when the reports are large, WooCommerce processes it in the background, and there isn’t an implementation to disable the background processing.

Do let us know if you have any further queries.

Thank you @wpnomad for your kind support.

I see there are few items in the category you selected which means the “download” fired immediately (not through email).
I mentioned earlier, category filter works well with “mmadiate download” but not when the file is emailed.
I appreciate if you can check with a biger dataset which requires sending via email.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi @ibrahimoo ,

I tested this with a larger dataset that sent the report ads an email, I was still not able to replicate the issue though. Here’s a screenshot for reference: https://d.pr/i/evW4BW

Is it possible that your products were previously in a different category? If so, then that may be causing the inconsistent report on your end. Do let me know!

    Hi @wpnomad

Many thanks for your kind response and sorry for my late reply.

This is what I figured out:
Although a single category is selected, the emailed file includes ALL products sold in the SAME order which a product of the selected category is there.
For example, if category X is selected and product A of this category is sold with some other products form category Y and category Z, the emailed file will include all those products from the 3 categries. The expected result is to include ONLY products of category X, just as displayed in the table at the bottom of the page.
    Does it make sense?

    Many thanks in advance.
