Analytics and Multisite installation of WP

  • I have a multi-site installation of WP with sub-directories:
    url/site1
    url/site2
    url/site…

    I am interested in making sure that I see analytics for the whole of the sites. I am not looking (like some past questions) to see the stats for single sites only. I want it all.

    Do I need to make sure the plugin is enabled inside all of the sub sites, or will the data be collected because I enabled the plugin in the base site?
