  • just installed wordpress 3.8 which I downloaded from here, installed and the setup went ok. my hosting provider is 1and1.co.uk after the installed got this error when looking for themes, plugins etc?

    how do I fix this? is it a problem, the install went okay.

    looked at the link and tried everything, still not working. is this a problem related to version 3.8 ?

    I don’t know of any such problem related to version 3.8

    Hello,
    I was working on my www.remarpro.com site (https://getting-paid-to-take-surveys-guide.com/)and published a page and went to review it and I noticed that my Adsense plugin (Insert Adsense) was not working.

    I tried to troubleshoot but had no luck so, I uninstalled the plugin. Waited about 15 minutes then checked my FTP to make sure the file (Insert Adsense) was gone. Which it was so, I went back to Install New Plugins and tried to install the “Insert Adsense” PlugIn and got this message when I went to Activate the plugin.

    “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”

    I stopped by here to seek help and I see that other people are having problems too. I believe it’s the PlugIn and not the Theme V3.8. I have a total of 9 sites on wordpress and tried to Install the same plugin there and got the same message.

    I hope someone can help or at least let me something. Thank you for your time on this matter. J.T. Smith

    I believe it’s the PlugIn and not the Theme V3.8.

    I have not installed any plugins or activated any? is there a plugin in the standard install?

    I solved this by allowing ‘Apache http server’ ‘httpd.exe‘ through Windows firewall.

    Hi, i recently deleted all the default themes of wordpress and my host provider as i thought they were taking up unnecessary space and now i get this msg in the ‘wordpress dashboard of themes”

    so i can t see any featured, popular themes.

    my website is running fine , it runs on a premium theme that i had bought from themeforest but the wordpress dashboard themes section gets me the error msg.
