An unexpected error occurred.

  • I am moving a wordpress site from one server to another and to a different URL. I have installed wordpress on the new server and moved all the files. When I go to appearance > themes > add new I get this message:
    An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

    The new web server people say it is a wordpress issue. I have read the forums and there is no malware. I have uninstalled everything and even with just the wordpress initial installation (before moving any files over) I get the same error.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    could be any reason.

    to satrat, try:

    – scanning for viruses/malwares

    – also make sure wordpress is not blocked by any firewall

    – check urls in dashboard setting
