Hi, I want to build a one-page site with Astra and don’t want to use Elementor. Is this possible? Any suggestions how to do this? I don’t mind using Gutenberg.

  • Hello @tastymouse

Yes, it can be achieved using Gutenberg if you don’t want to use Elementor.

You will need to create a page using the Gutenberg and use a Custom HTML block where you will need to use any tag with ID as required.

For demo purpose, I have used an h3 tag. Here’s a screencast of the same achieved on my end.

    I hope that helps.

Hello, Suman! Why use a Custom HTML block if you can set an HTML anchor for the headers in the Gutenberg settings?
For smooth scrolling, you can add jquery or javascript.

    Hello @zabavljaev

Yes, even the HTML anchors of the Heading block can be used but that is for the Heading section.

While for other cases we can use the Custom HTML block and add any tags as required.

    I hope that clarifies.

    Suman
