A old url causing an error error Redirect via 301 to the root appears to be no proper solution . How and where can I remove the link definitive. Would like to get some advice of a hero. Greetings Debby

  • Hi,

Your link does not exist, what you mean with “remove the link definitive’? It is deleted, so it means it does not exist.

    how to remove the error

It is ok with that error. When anybody visit any page – URL what does not exist, the right way is to show error 404.
    Try to visit URL google.com/test

Thank you very much. Okay I understand now. How do I prevent than ca. 50 daily crawl messages?

If you see many 404 errors in your site or google search console it can means, that something point to these URLs. Some backlink on any site by mistake or in your site.
You can check backlinks with some online tools. Just search google for “backlink checker”
