• Good day, our soccer league has only been running for a few weeks this year, but right from almost the beginning the standings have been incorrect: one team is showing as having one more win than is correct, and another team an additional loss.

When clicking on either team, it’s clear they’ve both played only three games .. but in the standings table they show as having played four. The especially curious part is that these teams haven’t played each other!

I confirmed that when I set all three games to “Draft” for one of the teams, that they still show as having played (and won) one game with a 0-0 score.

Do you think it will be possible for me to go through the database through phpmyadmin to find and delete the bogus game that doesn’t exist? If so, which table should I be looking in?

    Thanks for any thoughts.

    Hi!

    Thanks for reaching out!

If with all matches as drafts you still see a result it’s possible that you either have a match in your trash that is messing up your standings or that you have used the league table adjustments to add this extra match.

As for using PHPmyadmin, we strongly recommend against that as it’s very possible that it will make things much worse.

    Thanks!

    Kind Regards,

    Sorry, where is the trash?
On the main Events page the header says
    All (201) | Mine (199) | Published (150) | Scheduled (51)

So I assume there aren’t any trashed games?

    Hi!

Indeed, probably there aren’t any trashed games, WordPress would show them for you.

But you do have a lot of published matches, what happens when you set them all as drafts? Maybe there’s an older even that is messing it up.

    Thanks!

    Kind Regards,
