An “in post” link plugin request.

    I’m looking for a link manager like “Mister Linky” that allows you to put a gadget within your posts so people can add their blogs to the post.

    This is different from the sidebar blogroll. I want something that will allow my visitors to sign for events I host on my blog, so they can get in on the parade of visitors that will take them to their site to see how they’ve participated. Example: A photo category where bloggers take photos for a certain topic, then add their link so people will follow the chain of bloggers who also took photos for the event.

    Then, people can blog hop to each of the blogs that are listed in the post

    No responses yet. Doesn’t anyone have a need for a link plug-in like Mr. Linky, but one that we can host in our own blogs and on our own servers?

    i’d love a response to this too. i find mr. linky to be undesirable, simply because i don’t like having to modify my template for the script.

    I have likewise been searching for this. I found the reciprocal link plugins but nothing that allows for just links to allow for specific host blog hopping. I also have not enough experience with php to figure out how to do it myself.
