Before when this was called post expirator, you had the option to move a post to another category. That option is no longer available.

Why nerf the plugin like that?

    This is from the documentation:

    “`Change the Categories
Three of the options will modify the categories on your post:

Categories: Replace: remove all existing categories, and add new categories.
Categories: Add: keep all existing categories, and add new categories.
Categories: Remove: keep all existing categories, except for those specified in this change.`”

When you choose to replace, you don’t have the option to choose an existing category, you can move the post to.

This is a step back from the “original” Plugin, can we get that function back?

@satraptech Nothing has been removed at all regarding categories. You’re welcome to test earlier versions and compare.

If you see a possible bug, please report it with as much detail as possible to someone else can replicate it.

In Post Expirator it was possible to move post from one existing category to another. Is this still the case?

I see the option replace category in the drop-down, but won’t get any option, which category to move the post to.
