an events plugin that's not slow?

    Hi,

    Has anyone added an events plugin that does not slow down their heuman website?

    We added one but the site is noticeably slower to load, so would love to get a recommendation for a simple events plugin that does not make the Hueman theme slow to load,

  • Hi Maria. I think you’ll find, in general, that event plugins have a high overhead just because of everything they do. If you’re not using a cache plugin you might give that a try. I’ve used The Events Calendar, along with WP Super Cache, and the caching provides a significant speed improvement.
