An error occurred while updating Document Gallery

  • I’ve ran into a problem with this plugin.

    An error occurred while updating Document Gallery: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions. assets/icons/newsitelogo_docugall_background.png

    Could you please advise?

    Hi EOSlover,

    I can’t tell you much more than the error message. This is the result of files being created with different permissions than what WordPress has permissions to modify. Did you by chance manually change things, maybe installed DG by way of copying things over by FTP?
