Thanks for reaching out @mstubb. Based on your comments, I suspect a plugin conflict may be causing this, and it may be specific to one browser or a cached version of your site. To troubleshoot this further, please share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.??
    2. When checking the Site Kit dashboard from a Chrome browser?incognito window?does the same occur? If so, please share any?browser console errors?that appear.?I ask as other reported this particular issue when using the Safari browser.
    3. Does this occur on the Site Kit dashboard, the main WordPress dashboard (via the Site Kit widget) or on the front end of your site when using the Site Kit admin toolbar? Feel free to share a screenshot of where you encounter this.

Feel free to purge your cache from within WP Rocket and check for the same, in the event it’s related to a cached version of your site. Regardless, let me know of the above and we can hopefully determine more on this and ensure the issue no longer occurs.

Thank you James – I have sent the health info via your link. I get the same error regardless of browser Chrome and safari. I have already tried purging and Incognito and I get the same error. I have also used Purged WP Rocket to Remove all cached files. Hope this helps?

Appreciate you sharing the troubleshooting steps performed @mstubb. Given the same occurs for all browsers checked, please follow the steps below, which can help indicate a plugin conflict:

    1. Login to your live site from a Chrome browser incognito window.
    2. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    3. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    4. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google“.
    5. Check for the same error.

If the same does not occur while in troubleshooting mode, I suspect what’s happening is based on a conflict with your WP Rocket setting. We can perform some checks on this if so.

If the same does occur, please share where this occur occurs. For example is this on Site Kit dashboard, the main WordPress dashboard (via?the Site Kit widget) or on the front end of your site when using?the Site Kit admin toolbar.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

Thanks for the update @mstubb. The recording in particular if very useful, as I can see the error occurring on the Site Kit widget on the main WordPress dashboard. From reviewing the recording don’t see any such error on the main Site Kit dashboard, only the main WordPress dashboard. I can also see that despite being in troubleshooting mode, other plugins remain active (StackCache, Divi etc). Did you check whether the same occurs with only Site Kit active in troubleshooting mode? If not, please go ahead and check, following the steps above. In troubleshooting mode, ensure that Site Kit is the only plugin that remains active by following the steps above.

If you already tried this, with the same occurring, please share whether the same occurs if you reset Site Kit and connect the plugin once more. Note that by resetting, you will need to connect all previously connected modules once more.

Let me know how you get on with the above. Note also that the error you initially reported (An error occurred while running ‘mapSelect’), differs to the error shown in your recording (a.getTime is not a function). The root cause may indeed be the same, but hopefully you won’t encounter any issues after resetting.

Hi James – Divi needs to run because thats what the site is built with and we’ve over 100 sites all using the same plugins etc. The only plugin active was Sitekit and the error still showed. Yes sorry orignally i did have the An error occurred while running ‘mapSelect’ which has now changed to a.getTime is not a function after I deactived removed and deleted the actual plugin folder and basically did a hard reset. Then install the plugin and made the connections again.

I have reset several times now but here is the process again and still get the same error.https://www.loom.com/share/8303806cb3f9480f973b571901a049d0

I really appreciate your help and hope its fixable or can just ignore?

Appreciate the update @mstubb. It sounds like you’re encountering a conflict with the Google Charts library based on the error within the widget on the Site Kit dashboard. For such errors we did make changes, for when third party plugins also request Google Chart Library scripts on the WordPress dashboard, typically for their own widget.

Regarding a fix for this, let me check this with the team. I’ll have an update for you this week. In the meantime, you are correct and this error can be ignored given it only appears on the main WordPress dashboard in the Site Kit widget. The same metrics viewable from there can be viewed from the Site Kit dashboard.

While I’m check this with the team, it would be great if you could share any browser console errors that appear on the screen with that error.

Note also that if you do with to check for the error without Divi, be aware that in troubleshooting mode, this only impacts logged in administrators, so it should be safe to test this out with Site Kit as the only plugin active and with a core WordPress theme.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

@mstubb Just to let you know that a fix is out for this. Can you confirm that you no longer encounter this error when visiting the Site Kit widget on the main WordPress dashboard?

As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
